Mission Statement

The mission of the Macedonia Youth Department is to assist youth, ages 13-18 in developing and nurturing a relationship with God while establishing a foundation that will build Christian character, morals, values, and behaviors. This will be implemented by utilizing innovative methods to inspire, empower, and excite young people in their pursuit and daily walk with Christ.

Our goal is to enable young people to understand God’s love and purpose for them and how they can show love toward others and fulfill God’s purpose for their lives.   

Vision Statement

Our vision is to identify and respond to the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of our youth within our church and community by providing programs, activities, and events that will promote and facilitate a strong foundation of faith, personal development, and character development. It is our vision to provide a center and environment that encourages youth to use their individual gifts, talents, and abilities in programs and ministries that will nurture their growth as young people of faith to enhance their development and advance the kingdom of God.

Goals/Objectives

  • Developing a solid personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • Developing positive relationships with parents, peers, mentors, and supportive individuals.
  • Providing a center where spiritual, personal, emotional, academic, and social needs can be met and fully engaged.
  • Developing skills and competencies for youth success

Mission Statement

The mission of the Macedonia Children’s Ministry is to assist children, ages 12 and below in developing and nurturing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  In an age of Godliness we want to motivate young children to take a stand for God. Our goal is to cultivate Christian character in the lives of children who will then be able to stand as a witness for Christ.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to identify and respond to the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of the children within our church and in the community by providing programs and activities founded on Christian principles.  It is our hope that these activities and principles will assist in developing children of faith and high moral character.
 

Goals/Objectives

Children will be able to:

1) Develop a personal relationship and commitment to Jesus Christ.
2) Have a safe environment to develop and grow spiritually, emotionally, academically, and socially.
3) Interact with positive, Christian role models
